Superman died fighting with the giant Doomsday. He was buried – but then his body is stolen from the grave. While the authorities are busy solving the robbery, several new Supermen suddenly appear. They want to take over the legacy of the Man of Steel, but they follow completely different and far darker methods than the fallen Kal-El.
